Project 3: Final
Overall, I really enjoyed the opportunity to promote One7 through a motion graphics project. I had a good time experimenting with new techniques and the use of video, as well as following the overall look and feel of the One7 "brand" so to speak. My big problem with this project was just figuring out what I wanted to do and/or focus on about One7. Once I found my footing I feel I was going in a good direction, I only wish I had found that direction sooner. Again, it was great to have a school assignment bring me back to something I was very close to during high school. // Donate to One7: www.one7.org

ReplyDeleteThe music really connects to the visuals you are portraying. I love the illustrative style of the videos, and the ribbon that flows and connects each segment to one another. Overall very professional and straightforward, great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love the type solutions throughout, and am glad you kept them consistent. The red, moving element really added great movement throughout, but wasn't distracting from the type. I don't have much to critique! Love the overall outcome.

ReplyDeleteThis was really well done. Looks good enough to be something that I would see on TV. Really like the simple color palette and red lines guiding your eye.
ReplyDeleteThe message was powerful. I like that the video only shows the silhouette of the children, which gives it even more characteristics. I could totally see you make more inspirational videos like this one. Great job!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, I like that it was silhouettes so that it can be related to everyone. Animation was nice and clean with smooth transitions to the end.
ReplyDeleteVery well edited, obviously the music and video work well together. Only problem I really see if making your type more unified. For instance your first word that pops up is "opportunity" which fades into "unity" which is nice but none of the other words do this for you, so maybe make them all red from the start?
ReplyDeleteThis is so well done! I really like the line that flows through the entire sequence. The treatment of the logo is also really impressive. I appreciate how you took a solid ten seconds to emphasize the logo and brand at the end. I wish I had spent more time on the logo at the end of mine after seeing your's. Good job!
